Water Best PhD Thesis Award—Winner Announced
It is our great pleasure to announce the winner of the Water 2024 Best PhD Thesis Award. This award is given in recognition of a PhD student or recently qualified PhD who has produced a highly anticipated thesis with great academic potential.
The award has been granted to the following thesis:
“The Role of Aggregating Bacterial Strains in Drinking Water Safety – A Contribution to Understand Cell-Cell Interactions”
by Ana Cristina Oliveira Afonso, University of Porto, Portugal
The winner will receive an honorarium of CHF 800, an electronic certificate, and a voucher to waive the Article Processing Charges (APCs) for one submission in the Water (ISSN: 2073-4441) journal (subject to peer review)—valid for one year.
