Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease (TropicalMed) John M Goldsmid Award is granted annually to highlight publications of high quality, scientific significance, and extensive influence. The evaluation committee members choose 3 articles of exceptional quality that were published in TropicalMed the two years before the previous year and announce them online by the end of June.

The Prizes:
– One review article award: CHF 300 and a chance to publish a free paper in TropicalMed before 31 December 2025;
– One research article award: CHF 300 and a chance to publish a free paper in TropicalMed before 31 December 2025;
– One outstanding article award: CHF 200;
– Each winner will also receive an electronic certificate.

Eligibility for the Award

– All papers published in TropicalMed will be eligible (Both regular and Special Issue submissions).

Selection Criteria

– Scientific merit and broad impact;
– Originality of the research objectives and/or the ideas presented;
– Creativity of the study design or uniqueness of the approaches and concepts;
– Clarity of presentation;
– Citations and downloads.
