Symmetries, Differential Equations and Applications: Galois Bicentenary

This conference commemorates the bicentenary of the birth of Évariste Galois who introduced the notion of a group and made fundamental contributions to the solution of polynomial equations. The formal mathematical concept of symmetry thus came from Galois theory. The aim of SDEA2012 is to bring together researchers from all over the world to exchange ideas, share their research findings and to identify future research directions.  This meeting also intends to promote and explore possibilities of new collaborations among the international scientific community. SDEA2012 will include many plenary talks by leading researchers. The attendees at the SDEA2012 will also be graduate students, young researchers and scientists from all over the world. There will be parallel sessions for contributed talks as well.
