Conferences

18–22 June 2012, Groningen, the Netherlands
5th International Symposium on Symmetries in Subatomic Physics (SSP2012)

The conference is hosted by the accelerator institute KVI of the University of Groningen. Groningen is a lively student town with a university that is now 395 years old. It has a very pleasant city center, where the conference takes place. Groningen can be reached
conveniently by a direct train from the Amsterdam airport, and can also be reached from various airports in Germany.

The scientific program will be organized around the topics:
1. Parity violation in atoms and nuclei
2. Time and CP violation (in particular electric dipole moments)
3. Lorentz and CPT symmetry violation
4. Antimatter
5. Symmetries in QCD
6. SUSY models
7. Neutrino properties
8. Baryon and lepton number violation
9. Symmetries in cosmology 10. Time variation of fundamental constants

The program will consist of plenary sessions of invited and contributed talks. A special session will be hosted by the collaboration "Broken Mirrors and Drifting Constants" of the Vrije Universiteit (Amsterdam) and KVI-University Groningen.

The conference proceedings, including peer-reviewed invited talks and selected oral presentations, will be published in Hyperfine Interactions.
