Travel Award

Dear Colleagues,

As Editor-in-Chief of Resources, I am pleased to announce the winner of the Resources Travel Award for 2021.

The award has been granted to Dr. Ben Lowe, a post-doctoral fellow from Sheffield University Management School, Sheffield, UK.

With so many high-quality applicants, the evaluation process and final decision were challenging. We would like to thank all the applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics. In recognition of the quality of the applications received, Mr. Alessandro Lenci, a Ph.D student in Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Material Engineering, University of Bologna, Italy and Ms. Evangelia Georgantzia, a Ph.D student from Liverpool John Moores University, UK, are highly commended and are awarded the opportunity to publish a suitable article in Resources free of charge, respectively.

Thank you to the members of the international evaluation panel who carefully reviewed the applications, Dr. Witold-Roger Poganietz from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Dr. Elena Tamburini from University of Ferrara. On behalf of the assessment committee, I congratulate the winner and the two outstanding applicants on their accomplishments.
