Molecules | 10th Anniversary of the “Organometallic Chemistry” Section

This year marks a significant milestone—the 10th anniversary of the “Organometallic Chemistry” Section in Molecules (ISSN: 1420-3049), a leading international, peer-reviewed, open access journal of chemistry published semimonthly by MDPI.
We are proud to share that Molecules has achieved a new Impact Factor of 4.6, ranked Q2 in the categories “Chemistry, Multidisciplinary” and “Biochemistry and Molecular Biology”. The journal is widely indexed in major databases including Scopus, SCIE (Web of Science), PubMed, MEDLINE, PMC, Reaxys, CAPlus/SciFinder, MarinLit, AGRIS, and more.
Since its establishment in 2015, the Organometallic Chemistry Section has published over 400 high-quality papers, contributing significantly to both fundamental research and practical applications in the field of organometallic chemistry.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our readers, authors, peer reviewers, editors, and everyone who has supported the journal over the past decade. Your dedication and contributions have been instrumental in achieving this important milestone.
To commemorate this occasion, we are pleased to launch the Special Issue:
“10th Anniversary of the Organometallic Chemistry Section”
Guest Editors: Prof. Dr. Alistair Lees and Dr. Isabella Rimoldi
Deadline for manuscript submissions: 31 December 2025
We warmly invite you to join us in this celebration and look forward to your continued support and engagement.
