46th Congress of the Italian Society of Microbiology
The 46th National Congress of the Italian Society of Microbiology is a unique opportunity to take part to an event that will address the various challenges faced in the key areas of Microbiology while promoting networks of scientific collaboration. Professionals and students will be updated with many symposia and workshops on the latest scientific researches and discoveries in the field of Virology, Bacteriology, Mycology and Parasitology.
In particular, the SIM congress will focus among all on: biofilm-related infections, vaccine efficacy, molecular diagnostics, sepsis, microbiome and intervention strategies aimed at limiting microbial infections and preventing antimicrobial resistance. Also, specific round tables will be held by Italian and international experts on the prevention of diseases associated with microorganisms that are difficult to eradicate such as the hepatitis B virus, which discovery anniversary occurs this year, and the hepatitis D virus.
