52nd Scientific Conference of the German speaking Mycological Society (DMykG) e. V together with the Austrian Society for Medical Mycology (ÖGMM)
We hereby warmly welcome you on behalf of the DMykG and the ÖGMM to MYK2018, the major annual conference of both societies. The conference will be bilingual, only the moderation of the Gala dinner (reached by bus; www.speckbacherhof.at) will mostly be in German. From the workshop title you can deduce the working language and that of your abstract. This bilingual arrangement may facilitate attendance of our international students, but also of our colleagues from neighboring countries. To further support a broad attendance, six ÖGMM travel grants will be announced; three are reserved for ÖGMM members and three are open to all abstract submitters.
The venue is located in the new Biocenter building, about 10–20 min away (by foot) from all hotels, city centre and railway station. The airport is 10 min away by taxi, Munich airport is connected by both a regular train (via Munich Hbf) and an airport taxi service. Innsbruck is a charming sports and science town and the conference will serve all facets of basic research and clinical mycology.
