Microorganisms | New Section “Microbiomes” Established


The editorial team of Microorganisms (ISSN: 2076-2607) is pleased to announce the launch of a new Section—“Microbiomes”.

Microbiome research aims to understand the species, quantities, functions, and interrelationships of microorganisms in specific environments and their impact on the environment and hosts. Our vision for this Section is to provide a robust platform that facilitates rigorous peer review and expeditious publication, emphasizing the global dissemination of microbiome research. We aim to be an international, open access journal that provides rigorous peer review and rapid publication about the microbiome.
