Conference:
The 7th International Conference of Mycotoxicology and Food Security (ICM, 2025)
Date: 17–20 November 2025
Location: Hangzhou, China

MDPI will be attending the 7th International Conference of Mycotoxicology and Food Security (ICM, 2025) as an exhibitor, welcoming researchers from diverse backgrounds to visit and share their latest ideas.

This conference, hosted by the Xianghu Laboratory and organized jointly by the Oil Crops Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (OCRI-CAAS) and the State Key Laboratory for Managing Biotic and Chemical Threats to the Quality and Safety of Agro-products (SKLQSAP), will involve a wide range of mycotoxin management topics covering the whole food and feed chain.

In recent years, with global warming, changes in cultivation systems, and widespread dissemination of toxigenic fungi, the world is facing growing challenges posed by mycotoxin contamination, leading to significant food/feed safety issues and international trade disputes. This conference will provide an academic exchange platform for governments, researchers, and companies, enhance global awareness (particularly in Asian countries) on mycotoxins, extend the worldwide cooperation network, and promote the global development of advanced and innovative mycotoxin management technologies. Active participation of food chemists and technologists, plant pathologists and breeders, mycologists and fungal biologists, toxicologists and nutritionists, veterinarians and medical doctors is strongly expected. The main theme of this conference on Global mycotoxin challenges 2025 is “Risk Warning Assessment and Advanced, Sustainable, and Intelligent Management Strategies of Mycotoxin Along Food/Feed Chain”. This conference will be held under the auspices of the International Society on Mycotoxicology, the Thai Society of Mycotoxicology, and the Japanese Society of Mycotoxicology.

The following open access journals will be represented at the conference:

  • Toxins;
  • JoF;
  • JoX;
