This Special Issue includes selected papers presented at the 2nd International Conference of Sustainable Environmental Technology (ISET2021). The title of the Special Issue will be Empowering a Sustainable Environment through Advanced Materials and Technologies. This conference aims to spur innovative ideas in the area of science and technology to mitigate environmental problems and create a more sustainable future. This conference will serve as an exchange platform for participants to disseminate the latest findings from their areas of expertise.  The conference will be held virtually on the 9th and 10th of November 2021.

Conference topics include,

  • Renewable energy and energy efficiency
  • Biomaterials, bioprocessing, and biotechnology
  • Membrane technology
  • Thin film/nanomaterial fabrication and application
  • Water and wastewater treatment

On behalf of the organizing committee, we cordially invite you to join us. Participants of the conference are cordially invited to contribute original research papers or reviews to this Special Issue of Membranes600 CHF discount on article processing charges is available for all attendees of ISET 2021.

Benefits of Publishing in a Special Issue

  • Ease of navigation: Grouping papers by topic helps scholars navigate broad scope journals more efficiently.
  • Greater discoverability: Special Issues support the reach and impact of scientific research. Articles in Special Issues are more discoverable and cited more frequently.
  • Expansion of research network: Special Issues facilitate connections among authors, fostering scientific collaborations.
  • External promotion: Articles in Special Issues are often promoted through the journal's social media, increasing their visibility.
  • e-Book format: Special Issues with more than 10 articles can be published as dedicated e-books, ensuring wide and rapid dissemination.
