ICOM 2011: International Congress on Membranes and Membrane Processes
The organizing committee of ICOM 2011 has the pleasure to invite you for ICOM 2011. ICOM, International Congress on Membranes and Membrane Processes, is the world’s largest conference on fundamental and applied membrane science, engineering and technology. It offers a platform for extensive exchange of ideas, thoughts and discussions on membranes and membrane processes. ICOM 2011 covers the multidisciplinary chain of membrane science and technology ranging from molecule to process. Contributions can be fundamentally or applied in nature. Abstracts for both oral and poster presentations are accepted. All abstracts will be evaluated by the scientific committee of ICOM 2011.
Topics for abstracts include:
-Gas and vapor separation
- CO2 capture
- Membranes for biorefinery applications
- Membranes for drinking water production
- Ultra- and microfiltration
- Desalination
- Waste water treatment
- Nanofiltration and reverse osmosis
- Membrane fouling
- Membrane bioreactors
- Membrane contactors and multifunctional reactors
- Filtration under extreme conditions
- Membranes for energy generation
- Fuel cells/batteries
- Facilitated transport membranes
- Biomedical membrane applications
- Microfluidic membrane applications
