As the Editor-in-Chief of Medicina, it is my great pleasure to announce the winner of the Medicina 2021 Best Ph.D. Thesis Award. This prize was aimed to be granted to a Ph.D. student who is about to graduate or participate in the graduation thesis.
The award has been granted to:
“Chosen Aspects of Modern Perioperative Care in Patients Operated for Morbid Obesity”, by Piotr Małczak, Jagiellonian University Medical College, Poland.
The winner will receive CHF 1000, a certificate and a chance to publish a paper in Medicina in 2022.
On behalf of the Evaluation Committee, I congratulate the winner on his accomplishments.
