Travel Award

The Mathematics Travel Award was launched in 2018, and it is presented annually to encourage junior scientists to share their latest research at academic conferences in the field of mathematical sciences, which helps to increase their professional influence. The application process is open from April to October, and winners are announced by the end of December each year.

Prize:
– CHF 500;
– A certificate.

Eligibility and Requirements

– Postdoctoral fellow or PhD student;
– Plans to attend an international conference in 2026 (oral presentation or poster).

List of Documents for Application

– Information about conference that applicant is planning to attend and abstract that will be submitted;
– Curriculum Vitae and list of publications;
– Justification letter describing focus of research (max. 800 words);
– Letter of recommendation from supervisor, research director, or department head, which also confirms applicant’s status.
