We are pleased to inform you that Languages (ISSN: 2226-471X) has been accepted as a Class A journal, sector 10/N3 (Cultures and Languages of Central, Southern, Eastern and Southeastern Asia), in ANVUR (Agenzia Nazionale di Valutazione del Sistema Universitario e della Ricerca).
We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, and editors who have contributed to our journal and made this possible. This achievement is very important to us as it is proof of our successful collaboration with Italian communication scholars. It also offers the Italian communication scholarly community an additional outlet for publication that is highly ranked in their country.
Languages is an international, open access, scholarly journal whose central concern is the promotion of understanding of the world’s languages in all its diversity. It aims to present discussions and developments of multidisciplinary research, thereby generating broad and practical applications for the study of languages in the current world. We welcome manuscripts in a wide range of areas, including general, historical, theoretical, and applied linguistics. The journal publishes articles, reviews, commentaries, and communications without restrictions on the maximum length of the submissions, as well as Special Issues on particular subjects. The official language is English; however, research in all languages is welcome.
If you are interested in collaborating with us, whether through paper submissions or editing a Special Issue, and would like to explore potential discounts and other benefits of open access publishing in communication studies, feel free to contact us at languages@mdpi.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!
