Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Sustainability has become a critical driver in modern supply chains, aiming to take into consideration the integration of knowledge management (KM) strategies that will enhance efficiency, resilience, and environmental responsibility. This Special Issue of Knowledge explores the intersections between KM, digital technologies, and sustainable supply chain practices. It will focus on how organizations can change knowledge-driven approaches to achieve circular economy goals, reduce waste, and improve decision-making.
We invite high-quality research papers, case studies, and reviews addressing topics such as: AI and big data for sustainable supply chains—intelligent information retrieval, predictive analytics, and knowledge discovery for the optimization of resource use; blockchain and IoT for transparency—secure knowledge-sharing networks enabling traceability and ethical sourcing; the circular economy and knowledge retention—strategies for reusing, recycling, and upcycling materials through KM systems; human and organizational learning—best practices in training, collaboration, and innovation for sustainability; knowledge-based policy and governance—frameworks aligning economic, social, and environmental KPIs in supply chains. This Special Issue aims to bridge theory and practice in order to offer insights for researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders who are committed to promoting sustainable, knowledge-driven supply chains.
In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome, and research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following topics:
- Research area A AI and Big Data for Sustainable Supply Chains.
- Research area B Blockchain and IoT for Transparency.
- Research area C Circular Economy and Knowledge
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
