Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Neurological diseases affect a wide spectrum of society today due to the increase in life expectancy. Physiotherapy is not alien to this type of problem that the population presents, both in childhood and in adulthood. Therefore, new strategies must be evaluated and analyzed to determine their effectiveness and possible application in a population diagnosed with pathologies of neurological origin, as well as to know their effectiveness in treating the possible sequelae that these diseases cause in the development of their daily lives. This Special Issue plans to give an overview of the most recent advances in the field of neurological pathologies and their applications in diverse areas (pediatric, acquired brain injury and other neurological pathologies). This Special Issue is aimed at providing selected contributions on advances in the synthesis, characterization, and applications of neurological techniques.

Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Pediatric
  • Acquired brain injury
  • Degenerative disease
  • Future perspectives in neurological diseases
  • Roled of the physiotherapist in the treatment of the neurological patient
  • Treatment of neurological pathologies in the aquatic environment
  • Technological advances in rehabilitation treatment
