Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Artificial intelligence (AI) has been used in many areas of medicine in the past several decades. With the advancement of AI systems, they have become even more valuable tools with higher accuracy in many areas of medicine today. As the amount of patient data increases, AI systems become more effective in providing optimal treatments to patients. AI systems can be used in a wide range of medical applications including diagnosis, treatments, surgical procedures, and ICU care, and can be used in advisory, expert, and decision support systems as well as closed-loop automatic techniques. We are pleased to invite you to submit papers on the topic of this Special Issue, “Using Artificial Intelligence in Medical Research.” The focus of this Special Issue is on techniques that use ChatGPT or other commercialized AI systems in medicine. There is no restriction on any particular area of medicine, but the techniques should be based on using AI. Papers should describe original research on new systems, new case studies, or applications of systems, reviews, or short communications, and should not have been previously published or concurrently submitted to other journals. Detailed descriptions of previously published conference presentations will be considered.
