This Special Issue aims to publish high-quality review papers in Genes.
Biotechnology is revolutionizing research on genetics. Bioinformatics is critical in analyzing genetic data collected using modern biotechnology. This Special Issue focuses on reviews of the bioinformatics tools and analyses that have developed in recent years for genetic research. It will highlight the recent developments in bioinformatics tools and innovative applications in genetic research and can serve as a reference and guidance for selecting the right bioinformatics tools within the vast area of genetic research.

Manuscript Submission Information

Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Genes is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.

Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
