Travel Award
As the Editor-in-Chief of Forests, I am pleased to announce the two awardees for the 2017 Forests Graduate Student/Post-Doc Travel Awards. Dr. Paloma Ruiz Benito, a post-doctoral fellow from the University of Alcala, Spain, carries out research to better understand the interactive effects of climate and land use change on forest functioning. Mr. Stephen Murphy, a graduate student from the Ohio State University, USA, studies the complex suite of interactions between individual trees and their environment.
