6th International Conference on Information Systems and Software Technologies (ICI2ST 2026)

The 6th International Conference on Information Systems and Software Technologies (ICI2ST 2026), organized by the Faculty of Systems Engineering of the Escuela Politécnica Nacional (Ecuador) in collaboration with a prestigious consortium of co-organizing universities including UTPL, UCE, ESPE, Yachay Tech, UDENAR, UPEC, UCACUE, and PUCE, will be held from September 23rd to 25th, 2026.
Building upon the success of its five previous editions, ICI2ST 2026 continues to consolidate its position as a premier global platform for researchers, academics, and industry practitioners. The conference aims to foster the dissemination of cutting-edge research, innovative ideas, and practical developments in the fields of information systems, software engineering, and applied computing. This 6th edition will be held in a hybrid format, combining in-person sessions at the Hemiciclo Politécnico in Quito with a robust virtual environment powered by Moodle and BigBlueButton, ensuring seamless participation for the international scientific community.
The conference provides a rigorous international forum for the presentation of original research across a broad spectrum of interdisciplinary topics, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Software Engineering and Cyber Security: Agile methodologies, software quality, formal methods, and advanced security protocols.
- Computer Science and Applied Computing: Algorithms, high-performance computing, and computational modeling.
- Artificial Intelligence and Data Science: Machine learning, deep learning, big data analytics, and intelligent systems.
- Information Systems: IT governance, digital transformation, and human–computer interaction.
- Doctoral Symposium: A dedicated track for emerging researchers to present advanced work-in-progress and receive expert feedback.
All accepted and presented papers will be published in the MDPI journal Engineering Proceedings (ISSN 2673-4591).
