Best Paper Award

The Electricity Best Paper Award is presented annually to highlight publications of high quality, scientific significance, and extensive influence. Members of the evaluation committee choose one article of exceptional quality published in the journal during the preceding year, with the winners announced online by the end of June.

The Prize:
– One research article or one review will be selected.
– For each winning paper, we will award CHF 500, a certificate, and a voucher to waive the Article Processing Charges (APCs) for one submission to the journal (subject to peer review)—valid for one year.

Eligibility and Requirements

– All papers published in Electricity are eligible (both regular and Special Issue submissions).

Selection Criteria

– Scientific merit and broad impact;
– Originality of the research objectives and/or the ideas presented;
– Creativity of the study design or uniqueness of the approaches and concepts;
– Clarity of presentation;
– Citations and downloads.
