Disabilities Receives an Increased CiteScore of 2.3


We are pleased to share that Disabilities (ISSN 2673-7272) has received an increased CiteScore of 2.3 in June 2026. The CiteScore ranks the journal 25 out of 101 titles (Q1) in the “Health Professions (miscellaneous)” category, 258 out of 744 titles (Q2) in the “Social Sciences (miscellaneous)” category, and 203 out of 387 titles (Q3) in the “Health (social science)” category, an impressive achievement for a journal running in Volume 6.

The current CiteScores measure the average number of citations within a journal over a four-year window (2022–2025). The Scopus database provides a comprehensive suite of metrics that support informed publishing strategies, research evaluation and enable benchmarking of journal performance.
