Dairy Small Ruminants

This Section focuses on all areas of dairy small ruminant production and welfare; it will cover the strategies to improve milk yield and quality by evaluating the effects of nutrition, management, welfare, and health on dairy small ruminant production. The evaluation of strategies to reduce antimicrobial usage and to improve safety of milk and dairy products from small ruminants will be included. The aim is to publish research that will enhance the quality, also in terms of technological quality, and safety of milk from small ruminants, as well as their welfare and health status. Manuscripts dealing with new dairy products, technology, and functionality are welcome.
