ECCG4 aims to reflect the significant and broad ranging importance of Crystal Growth in terms of relevance and applicability and the intrinsic scientific breadth & inter-disciplinarity of the field.
Through thought provoking lectures, the conference will draw upon the wide-ranging societal impact of crystal growth applications in so many areas of modern life, such as microelectronics & information technology, chemical, pharmaceutical & materials production, instrumental & analytical methods and healthcare & personal products to name a few.
The conference programme has been designed to stimulate both industrial & academic scientists alike through balancing innovation in crystal growth science and practical (application-based) exploitation of crystal technology. The overall aim will be to explore synergy & draw-out interconnectivity between different & often diverse areas building a unified & holistic European crystal growth community.
