Prof. Jesús Sanmartín-Matalobos Appointed Section Editor-in-Chief of Crystals

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Jesús Sanmartín-Matalobos has been appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of the Section “Macromolecular Crystals” of Crystals (ISSN 2073-4352). His term began in April 2020.

Jesús Sanmartín-Matalobos is author of more than 130 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international journals as well as two textbooks for students. His research is focused on different aspects of Coordination and Supramolecular Chemistry, with the majority of studies examining the different properties of metal complexes and their potential application as biocides, fluorescent probes, or magnetic materials, among others.

The editorial team warmly welcomes Prof. Dr. Jesús Sanmartín-Matalobos as the Editor-in-Chief of Macromolecular Crystals. He previously served as an Editorial Board Member of Crystals, where he made great contributions toward its development.
