We are delighted to announce the establishment of a Special Issue on the captivating topic of topological matter. This Special Issue aims to provide a platform for researchers and scholars to share their latest findings and insights in this rapidly evolving field. By focusing on the fundamental aspects and applications of topological matter, this Special Issue will contribute to advancing knowledge and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration in this field.
Researchers, scientists, and academicians who are actively engaged in the study of topological matter, as well as experts in the fields of condensed matter physics, materials science, quantum mechanics, and related disciplines, are invited to submit their research to this Special Issue. We encourage submissions from both established researchers and emerging scholars, with the aim of fostering a diverse and inclusive dialogue.
This Special Issue on topological matter will cover a wide range of topics within this fascinating field. The following areas of research are particularly relevant:
- Topological insulators and superconductors: investigating the unique electronic properties and phenomena exhibited by these materials.
- Topological phases and transitions: exploring the emergence and manipulation of topological phases and their transitions in various systems.

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Condensed Matter is an international peer-reviewed open access quarterly journal published by MDPI.
