Editor’s Choice articles are based on recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world. Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.

We are pleased to announce the winners of the Clean Technologies 2024 Best Paper Award. All papers published from 1 January to 31 December 2024 in Clean Technologies (ISSN 2571-8797) were considered for this award. After a thorough evaluation by members of the Award Committee from the Editorial Board, based on the originality and significance of the papers, as well as their citation and download metrics, two winners were selected.
