Young Investigator Award

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Chemosensors 2022 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Maria Cuartero.

Dr. Maria Cuartero is a Full Professor of HITECH of San Antonio University at UCAM, Murcia, Spain. Dr. Maria Cuartero’s research interests are in chemical sensors, analytical chemistry, electrochemistry, healthcare, single-cell measurements, charge transfer, water monitoring, and sport performance. Dr. Maria Cuartero received her PhD in 2014 and has an outstanding publication record, comprising 97 publications in peer reviewed international journals. Dr. Maria Cuartero’s Scopus Scientific Citation number is 2500 and her Hirsch index is 30. She is clearly a rising star in the field of both novel analytical methodologies and innovative electroanalytical sensing principles for decentralizing chemical information in domains such as health and the environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Maria Cuartero for her outstanding achievements.

As the awardee, Dr. Maria Cuartero will receive an honorarium of CHF 1000, an offer to publish a paper free of charge before the end of December 2023 in Chemosensors after peer review, and an electronic certificate.
