Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The foundations of human behavioral health and wellbeing might significantly be grounded in social interactions. Indeed, society as such is facing a lot of challenges in which individuals and social groups display behavior which might have a substantial impact on all of us. Intergroup relations might lead to conflict and war in society, resulting in a significant increase in mental health and wellbeing issues. Individuals facing mental health stigma and prejudices are further important issues to be addressed. Indeed, humans’ moral choices might be defined as a combination of their personal attitudes towards a concept plus their actual behavior towards themselves and others. We are increasingly seeing that people might make different moral choices to what they regard as morally acceptable. In psychology and related disciplines, such issues have been researched, and this Special Issue aims to further investigate key research topics around moral and social psychological concepts and their impact on behavior and behavioral health. Using a variety of methods, such as physiological measures, surveys, psychological tests, and qualitative approaches, will allow us to gather novel insights. Papers of a high academic standard investigating those concepts are thus invited to this Special Issue.
