Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Healthcare workers face significant workloads. This often results in emotional responses like anxiety and depression symptomatology, which are typically adaptive and temporary. However, a considerable number of healthcare professionals experience clinically significant mental health issues, particularly work-related conditions such as burnout. Therefore, the second edition of this Special Issue will maintain its broad scope by exploring the emotional effects of healthcare workers’ labor activity through diverse study designs. We encourage submissions that are theoretically grounded, such as systematic reviews or meta-analyses, as well as empirical research utilizing qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods approaches. Again, this Special Issue will include observational studies, interventional research (both randomized and non-randomized trials), and evaluation studies, such as the validation of new assessment tools, all centered on this specific population: healthcare workers.
