Applied Sciences Webinar | Human–Machine Systems, Human–Machine Interfaces and Human Wearable Device Performance on 27 May 2024

The purpose of this online seminar is to provide a mini forum to promote scientific research into the interactions and interfaces between humans and advanced devices that have emerged in recent years. These advanced devices include, but are not limited to, VR, AR, and many other wearable devices. Whenever a new device or product is announced, customers and users are eager to use them. Some may enjoy the benefits of these new products; others, however, may focus on the negative aspects of their design. User-friendliness is also a target for designers. This may not always be fully realized, however. To promote the scientific study into how humans interact with virtual objects and human performance in virtual environments, Dr. Peng and Prof. Dr. Kai Way Li have launched a Special Issue in the journal Applied Sciences: Advances in Human–Machine Systems, Human–Machine Interfaces and Human-Wearable Device Performance.
