Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly
interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the
most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.

The award has been granted to:
Dr. Filip Jansåker, a post-doctoral fellow at Center for Primary Healthcare Research, Department of Clinical Medicine, Lund University, Lund, Sweden.
Dr. Vanessa Silva, a Ph.D. student at Verinary Sciences Department, University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, Vila Real, Portugal.
Each of the winners will receive CHF 800 (Swiss francs) and an electronic certificate.
With the numerous high-quality applicants considered for this award, there were challenges faced in the evaluation process and in making the final decision.
