15th International Conference on Large-Scale Scientific Computations, LSSC 2025

LSSC 2025 is the 15th edition of the biannual International Conference on Large-Scale Scientific Computations. The event is organized by the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The conference will be held in Sozopol, a picturesque town on the Black Sea coast.

A wide range of recent achievements in the field of scalable numerical methods, algorithms, and their applications will be addressed during the conference. The meeting provides a forum for the exchange of innovative ideas between scientists, who develop and study numerical methods and algorithms, and researchers, who apply them in the resolution of real-world issues.

The conference traditionally explores the following major research areas: hierarchical, adaptive, domain decomposition and local refinement methods; robust preconditioning algorithms; Monte Carlo methods and algorithms; numerical linear algebra; control systems; parallel algorithms and performance analysis; and large-scale computations of environmental, biomedical and engineering problems.

The announced special sessions highlight the following specific topics in this edition of the LSSC series: (i) Mathematical and Numerical Modeling of Multiphysics Problems; (ii) Variational Analysis and Optimal Control; (iii) Space-Time Methods for PDE-Based Simulation and Optimization; (iv) Numerical Methods for Nonlocal Problems; (v) Fractional Operators and Multi-Physics; (vi) Recent Advances in Computational and Applied Poromechanics; (vii) Mathematics and Algorithms for Predictive Digital Twins; (viii) Adaptive and Robust Domain Decomposition Methods; (ix) Applications of Metaheuristics to Large-Scale Problems; (x) Large-Scale Models: from Life Sciences to Climate Research; and (xi) HPC and HPDA: Algorithms and Applications.
