2011 Algorithms was indexed in Scopus - Elsevier.
2013 Algorithms was indexed in DBLP Computer Science Bibliography - Universität Trier, Ei Compendex/Engineering Village - Elsevier, MathSciNet - American Mathematical Society.
2015 Algorithms was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) - Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics).
2016 Algorithms announced the first edition of the Travel Award.
2017 Algorithms published its 500th paper.
2018 Algorithms adopted a monthly publication schedule.
2019 Algorithms announced the first edition of the Best Paper Awards.
Algorithms published its 1,000th paper.
2020 Algorithms announced the first edition of the Outstanding Reviewer Awards.
Algorithms established the following sections:
  • Databases and Data Structures;
  • Combinatorial Optimization, Graph, and Network Algorithms;
  • Evolutionary Algorithms and Machine Learning;
  • Parallel and Distributed Algorithms;
  • Randomized, Online, and Approximation Algorithms;
  • Analysis of Algorithms and Complexity Theory;
  • Algorithms for Multidisciplinary Applications.
Algorithms collaborated with the EUROPEAN SOCIETY FOR FUZZY LOGIC AND TECHNOLOGY (EUSFLAT, https://www.eusflat.org/publications-mdpi.html).
2021 Algorithms organized the first edition of its online conference.
2023 Algorithms announced the first edition of the Best PhD Thesis Award.
Algorithms received its first impact factor (2022) of 2.3.
Algorithms received its CiteScore (2022) of 3.7.
2024 Algorithms received its impact factor (2023) of 1.8.
Algorithms received its CiteScore (2023) of 4.1.
2025 Algorithms received its CiteScore (2024) of 4.5, ranked 19/88 in “Mathematics: Numerical Analysis”.
