This Special Issue focuses on the interdisciplinary convergence of cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI), with particular emphasis on their application in key domains such as industrial applications, communication technologies, multi-agent systems, social computing, and time series data analysis. These fields hold critical strategic significance and high application value in today's technological development. This Issue aims to gather the latest research achievements in this field, promoting the deep integration and innovative application of cloud computing and AI in the specified directions. It welcomes submissions in various forms, including research papers, review articles, case studies, and technical reports, and invites scholars and practitioners to contribute their cutting-edge findings and practical experiences.
The integration of cloud computing and AI has become an irresistible trend in the current wave of technological advancement. However, current research remains largely concentrated on the fundamental theories of AI and the infrastructure construction of cloud computing, with relatively limited exploration of specific applications of AI in cloud computing environments—especially in industrial applications, communication technologies, multi-agent systems, social computing, and time series data analysis. This Special Issue aims to bridge this gap by showcasing the latest research achievements and practical experiences, providing readers with a comprehensive perspective, fostering academic exchange and technological progress, and driving industrial upgrading and innovative development.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- Industry Applications: Exploring the specific applications of AI in healthcare, autonomous driving, smart manufacturing, and how cloud computing supports these applications.
- Communications Technology: Investigating the application of AI in optimizing 5G/6G networks, underwater wireless optical communication, and other communication technologies, as well as leveraging cloud computing to enhance communication resources.
- Multi-Agent Systems: Analyzing the mechanisms of cooperation and competition within multi-agent systems and the role of AI, particularly in dynamic environments.
- Social Computing: Utilizing AI to analyze social networks, group intelligence, and decision-making processes, as well as the application of cloud computing in socio-economic simulations.
- Time-Series Data Analysis: Studying the application of AI in time-series data prediction, anomaly detection, and pattern recognition, and how cloud computing improves processing efficiency.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
