Travel Award

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Evaluation Committee, I am pleased to announce the winner of the 2018 Inorganics Travel Award. This award was granted to Marta Falcone, a PhD student in Professor Marinella Mazzanti’s group at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Ms. Falcone is planning to present her work “Small Molecule Activation at Multimetallic Uranium Nitrides” at the Gordon Inorganic Chemistry Conference “Innovative Advancements and Technical Challenges that Span the Periodic Table”. The award consists of 800 Swiss Francs towards attending this conference.

The final decision was extremely difficult to make given the extraordinary number of high quality applications that were received. We would particularly like to thank all the applicants for their submissions and congratulate Ms. Falcone on her success.

Editor-in-Chief,
Prof. Dr. Duncan H. Gregory
