Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors provide a detailed description of the nonclassical properties of certain coherent states for non-hermitian
Hamiltonians with real spectra, in particular for oscillator like spectrum.

The paper is well written and well motivated, providing enough references. It descrbes accurately the classical and nonclassical
properties of a variety of states for different values of the parameters.

I consider the paper adequate for publication in Quantum Reports.

Author Response

Dear Reviewer:

Thanks for your careful review of our manuscript.

Sincerely,
The authors

Reviewer 2 Report

In the submitted paper, the authors have studied non-classical properties of different states constructed through the bi-orthogonal superpositions of eigenstates of the non-Hermitian Hamiltonians in terms of the purity, the Mandel parameter and the Wigner function.\\

The paper is certainly informative and (numerically) correct. However the revised manuscript should address the following comments:

1-The conclusion that one be attempted to draw from reading the paper could be: and so what? So, the summary of article should be improved.

2-A non-Hermitian Hamiltonian of the simple harmonic oscillator with
PT and C symmetries has been studied
in [Mod. Phys.Lett. A, 24 (2009) 2039-2051]. The author should cited this work.

Author Response

Dear Reviewer:

We appreciate your careful review. The manuscript has been made according to your remarks as follows:

Reviewer remark 1: The conclusion that one be attempted to draw from
reading the paper could be: and so what? So, the summary of article should be
improved.

Answer: Indeed, the conclusions in the manuscript did not remark the importance of the results. Therefore, the section of Conclusions has been rewritten
entirely. Now, the main objectives of the work have been pointed out, the
most relevant endings are explicitly discussed, and some perspectives for future
research have been included. Thanks for your observation.

Reviewer remark 2: A non-Hermitian Hamiltonian of the simple harmonic
oscillator with PT and C symmetries has been studied in [Mod. Phys.Lett. A,
24 (2009) 2039-2051]. The author should cite this work.

Answer: Thanks for your suggestion. Such a reference has been properly cited
in the introduction and the conclusions.

Sincerely,

Authors
