Maybe the model might be useful to new researchers.
I could easily relate the model with any authors original publication.
I am used to has an academic work reporting the entire research.

The manuscript reports a model that allows estimating the energy demand of the process depending on the percentage composition of the MSW and the final torrefaction temperature. The authors affirm that the model allows the optimization of the torrefaction process regarding its energy demand by changing the proportion of MSW mix and the final temperature.
The work is simple in its conception and interesting, although I believe that some improvements are necessary for its publication. Below are some suggestions for authors.
*) The model involves the use of experimental data, obtained by TGA and DSC thermal analysis, carried out on each type of MSW component. The data entered in the model are average values derived from multiple samples of the same component? I believe it is necessary to clarify this aspect. Thermal analysis data, if derived from a single sample, may not be representative of the specific component due to its likely great quantity and therefore a great deal of variability.
**) Has the model been tested experimentally? By applying the model was the quality of the final product verified after the torrefaction process?
***) Is it possible to explain better why these eight specific types of MSW components were chosen and not others? Why specifically consider chicken meat or genuine leather, or eggs package?
