Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Atom-based quantum technologies offer opportunities for accessing deep insight quantum many-body physics. In this review paper, the authors provide a comprehensive review on the state-of-the-art ultracold quantum technologies, illustrating its applications to understand problems in wide range of fields covering condensed matter and fundamental physics, cosmology and astrophysics, advance quantum chemistry and the emerging field of quantum biology.

Frankly, I am astonished by the abundant information compacted in this work, and I believe the readers will benefit from it. Importantly, it is written in a clear and logical style, providing a complete overview with solid background and numerous references combined with comprehensive and valuable perspectives on manifold fields. In summary, the review paper is well suitable for publication in technologies.

Author Response

We wish to thank the Reviewer for their time spent in carefully reading our manuscript and providing us with their valuable feedback. The writeup of this review was indeed a challenge for the quantitatively vast and the qualitatively complex, interdisciplinary, field of the subject. Since the beginning, we felt that the opinion of experts would be very valuable to us, to assess the degree to which we could succeed in undertaking this challenge. Therefore, we are especially grateful to the Reviewer for their appreciation of our effort.
