Report on the manuscript titled "Viscous Cosmology in f (Q, Lm) Gravity: Insights from CC, BAO, and GRB Data" by Dheeraj Singh Rana, Sai Swagat Mishra, Aaqid Bhat and P.K. Sahoo.

In this paper the authors have studied the implications of a viscous term in the framework of f (Q, Lm) gravity, taking into account a linear form of the functional. Then, the authors have used the MCMC method to study the observational constraints. Although the paper is interesting, I think that it has the following drawbacks:

  • it would be nice to see the contour plots combined, for the CC+BAO+GRB
  • also, taking different only CC, BAO, GRB only in one plot
  • the section for the Gamma-Ray Bursts should add more details, if a reader wants to replicate the analysis; hence, I would advise the authors to expand this section and include all of the details necessary for the MCMC analysis
  • the conclusion should be expanded
