Congratulations and I appreciate the work done. High-quality manuscript. I have no major comments. The authors achieved their goal.
In the final version, the heading of Table 2 should be moved to the beginning of the next page and Figure 2 should also be on one page.
Dear authors. In my opinion, the text is very well written and understandable.
1) The subject is important and modern. Diode clamped multilevel inverter has many advantages and is now often used in new applications.
2) The authors provided a sufficient overview of the current literature, although there could be more items published after 2015,
3) The authors proposed a modification of VSVPWM modulation by a new one called FRCVBPWM, which allowed to reduce the number of switches. This is very important to reduce energy losses.
4) The theoretical description is prepared very well.
5) Simulations were carried out and, what is very important, the experiment was verified. This fully supports the thesis of the manuscript. The results are very good.
6) The drawings and their description are legible.
I have two editorial notes:
In the final version, the heading of Table 2 should be moved to the beginning of the next page and Figure 2 should also be on one page.
