Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Dear authors, the effort made in achieving the objectives of the research is recognized, however, the information presented and its explanations requires strengthening, giving greater value to the antioxidant capacity of the extracts, since having used different techniques to evaluate said activity, more details could be explained describing the scope of each of the methodologies. On the other hand, the discussions are very general, it is necessary to explain the findings beyond just mentioning what coincides with other research.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors Exploring the in vitro antioxidant, anti-aging, and cytotoxic properties of Kaempferia galanga Linn. Rhizome extracts for cosmeceutical formulations   There are a few queries where the author's attention is required.    1. Replace the word "encountered" in the abstract 2. Add the results value of the antioxidant activities in the Abstract 3. Only one reference for the years 2022 and 2023.  4. Add the results value of the antioxidant activities in the conclusion also.  5. Both ABTS and FRAP linear ranges were not mentioned.  6. Add supplementary data for TPC, TFC, DPPH, ABTS and FRAP

Thanks for reviewing our manuscript and give us this good feedback in order to improve the manuscript. All the changes are highlighted in green in the text

  1. Replace the word "encountered" in the abstract

Answer: we have changed it

  1. Add the results value of the antioxidant activities in the Abstract

Answer: we add the value of each antioxidant activities in the abstract

  1. Only one reference for the years 2022 and 2023.

Answer: More new references have been included

  1. Add the results value of the antioxidant activities in the conclusion also

Answer: In our opinion, we do not explain the result data in the conclusion section because the conclusion should provide a concise synthesis of the main points, summarizing the key findings and their implications to the objective.

  1. Both ABTS and FRAP linear ranges were not mentioned.

Answer: The linear ranges of positive control were added to these assay

  1. Add supplementary data for TPC, TFC, DPPH, ABTS and FRAP

Answer: The supplement data of these experiments as the attachment

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

I have read the submission entitled 'Exploring the in vitro antioxidant, anti-aging, and cytotoxic properties of Kaempferia galanga Linn. Rhizome extracts for cosmeceutical formulations'. The study is well written and design good. I believe this work strongly contribute to the development of herb-based cosmetic. However, authors should consider the following comments.

1. Improve the resolution of Figures.

2. Too less references cited in the Introduction section. Please explain the correlation between aging and antioxidant.

3. What is the key flavonoid in the treatment of aging in this study.

4. do not repeat result in the conclusion section.

  1. Improve the resolution of Figures.

Answer: We modified the figures with higher resolution

  1. Too less references cited in the Introduction section. Please explain the correlation between aging and antioxidant.

Answer: More references included in the introduction

  1. What is the key flavonoid in the treatment of aging in this study.

Answer: In this study offers evidence that KG become enriched in phenolic compounds, ethyl p-methoxycinnamate (EPMC) has been isolated as a major compound from the rhizome of KG [6-8].

  1. Do not repeat result in the conclusion section.

Answer: We rewrite the conclusion section for improving the manuscripts
