Abstract

This study focuses on the construction of a synthesis health index for metro vehicle wheelsets through theoretical foundation analysis, procedural steps, and practical examples. By analyzing the theoretical foundation, this study explains the advantages of the synthesis health index compared to traditional health indicators. The procedural steps describe the detailed process from data collection, preprocessing, and feature extraction to health index construction. Additionally, practical examples are used to validate the effectiveness and accuracy of this method in real-world applications. The results indicate that this synthesis health index construction method can accurately assess the real-time health status of in-service wheelsets and also reflect and predict the trends of their health status changes.
