For general purposes, the WMA additives can reduce the mixing and compaction temperature which leads to a decrease the energy consumption and greenhouse gases. For technical purposes, WMA additives can improve the workability of the CR asphalt binder.

13.  In section 3.1 Penetration helps in determining the hardness of asphalt. How the hardness is improved by the combination of two or more additives needs to be explained in this section.
