Effect of Interface on the Deep Drawability of Ti/Al Multilayered Composites
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
There are many cases where undefined abbreviations are used in the manuscript.
For example, does EL (line 46 of page 2) mean elastic limit? In addition, YS (line 151 of page 4) needs to be defined in advance.
There are expressions different from conventional expressions used in general research papers on metal forming. For example, "stamping forming" has been used, but it is common to use one of expressions such as "stamping", "press forming", and "sheet metal forming". Also, the use of "neck" and "deep draw" on page 15 needs to be modified.
These problems can be a matter of terminology or English proofreading. Overall, it seems that this manuscript needs a lot of proofreading in English.
Other review comments are as follows:
Page 3, line 100: What does "Channel 5 software" mean?
Page 4, lines 137-138: The authors need to take into account that "reducing yield strength" is not always the same as "improve the mechanical properties". It is an advantage in terms of formability, but the advantages of mechanical properties are not always the same.
Page 4, line 142: Was sigma_s/sigma_b defined? It doesn't seem to be defined exactly in the manuscript.
Page 5, line 160: Is the sentence "The n values gradually decreses with the increase of layers" correct? According to the data, "increase" seems to be correct.
Page 5, line 181-182: The meaning of the sentence "the basal and non-basal slip systems are not easy to start" is ambiguous. What is being started?
Page 5, line 185: The meaning of the sentence "facilitates the softening of the Ti grain orientation" is ambiguous. Softening of grain orientation is not a logical expression.
Page 6, line 191: The formula size in Table 1 needs to be adjusted evenly.
Page 7, line 223: Did the author define "ultimate drawing strength"? When an undefined term is used, the reader cannot know its exact meaning.
Page 9, line 269: "withtheresults" needs correction.
Page 10, line 273: A space is required between Figure 6 and Table 2.
Page 11, line 285, 291: The author uses "vs" in a long sentence. I can guess the meaning of the sentence to some extent, but I think it is difficult to know the exact intention. It is related to the problem of English correction.
Page 11, line 295: Is there any reason to use parentheses in "(0.7 to 0.9) times"?
Page 12, line 321: "mold" is used only here. It needs to be unified with the "die" used previously.
Page 13, line 354: The author describes the resulting phenomenon for "adaptive changes of interfacial morphology". In order to become an academic paper, it is necessary to explain the fundamental mechanism by which this phenomenon occurs in terms of plasticity theory.

Reviewer 2 Report
This paper's purpose is to study the formability indexes of Ti/Al multilayered composites calculated by uniaxial tension, with deep drawing tests performed at room temperature to obtain their limit drawing ratio (LDR). The paper is well written, but some typos were found. The subject to be studied is well presented in the introduction, with current and adequate references (around 58% in the last five years). The methods are clearly presented and are the classical methodology for preparing and characterizing this class of materials. The results are interesting, and their analysis is adequate, based on adequate earlier findings. The conclusions are solid, supported by very interesting results. This paper may add very interesting knowledge for Ti/Al laminated composites. I suggest its publication after a grammar revision.

Reviewer 3 Report
The research subject is interesting. The way how it is presented is clear. The authors may need to develop more about the EBSD results. The quality of the graphs and pictures is excellent.

Reviewer 3 Comments and Suggestions for Authors
Point:The research subject is interesting. The way how it is presented is clear. The authors may need to develop more about the EBSD results. The quality of the graphs and pictures is excellent.
Response: Thanks for the reviewer's recognition of the article. The Ti/Al multilayered composites is a very valuable research topic, and the authors will conduct more systematic research in the future. The abundant EBSD characterization results on Ti/Al multilayered composites will be presented later.
