- CLBP persists for more than 3 months;
- Male or female, aged 20–70 years;
- Pain intensity of 4 or greater on the NPRS;
- Able to understand and follow instructions;
- Laboratory-confirmed vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency (serum 25(OH)D < 20 ng/mL) at screening.
- Exclusion criteria:

- Incontinence;
- History of cancer;
- Use of systemic medications;
- Systemic illnesses;
