Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This is an interesting work on the use of Fractals in biomimetic Urban Design. Although I identify many interesting aspects and decent overall merit in work, there are some important points that must be improved for publication. Here they are:

1) The abstract must be presented as a single-paragraph text and must present more clearly the contribution of the paper to the field, the methods, and the obtained results

2) The references need to be rearranged. The first citation mentioned in the text is with the number (11). All the citations must be presented following their order of appearance in the text - the first citation is 1, the second is 2, and so on and so forth...

3) The work lacks a stronger justification on why using Corbusier and Schumacher together - in the intro it would be important

4) The conclusion should describe better what are the main contributions of the work

5) There are many important works in the use of computation and sustainable urban design that should be included in the references. Below are some examples:

The abstract is presented as a single-paragraph text and is present more clearly the contribution of the paper to the field, the methods, and the obtained results.

The references are rearranged.

The work presented a strong justification for why using Corbusier and Schumacher together in the intro.

The main contributions of the work are described more clearly in the conclusion part.

Suggested references are used in the study.

Reviewer 2 Report

There are too many tables instead of interpretation and the tables are not well organized.

Tables are commonly used to summarize data, compare results, or provide a visual representation of relationships between variables. Tables can help readers quickly understand key findings, identify trends or patterns in the data, and make comparisons between different groups or conditions. However, you used the tables in the whole article. Need understanding the use of tables.

If there are many tables in a journal article without proper interpretation or explanation, it can create confusion and make it difficult for readers to understand the main findings of the study. In such cases, it would be helpful for the authors to provide clear and concise explanations of the tables in the text of the article or in accompanying figures.

Additionally, authors should ensure that the tables are properly formatted and labeled so that readers can easily understand what the data represents. The tables should also be placed appropriately in the article and referred to in the text to guide readers to the relevant information.

Overall, tables should be used as a tool to present data and findings in a clear and organized manner, and authors should take care to provide proper interpretation and explanation to ensure that readers can fully understand the results of the study.

Reviewer 4 Report

The manuscript entitled " The Fractal Approach in the Biomimetic Urban Design: Le Corbusier and Patrick Schumacher" has been investigated in detail. The topic addressed in the manuscript is potentially interesting and the manuscript contains some practical meanings, however, there are some issues which should be addressed by the authors:

1) In the first place, I would encourage the authors to extend the abstract more with the key results. As it is, the abstract is a little thin and does not quite convey the interesting results that follow in the main paper. The "Abstract" section can be made much more impressive by highlighting your contributions. The contribution of the study should be explained simply and clearly.

2) The readability and presentation of the study should be further improved. The paper suffers from language problems.

3) The "Introduction" section needs a major revision in terms of providing more accurate and informative literature review and the pros and cons of the available approaches and how the proposed method is different comparatively. Also, the motivation and contribution should be stated more clearly.

4) "Discussion" section should be added in a more highlighting, argumentative way. The author should analysis the reason why the tested results is achieved.

This study may be proposed for publication if it is addressed in the specified problems.
