The journal retracts the article titled “Peer-to-Peer Energy Trading Pricing Mechanisms: Towards a Comprehensive Analysis of Energy and Network Service Pricing (NSP) Mechanisms to Get Sustainable Enviro-Economical Energy Sector” [1], cited above.
Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the Editorial Office regarding an overlap between this publication [1] and another manuscript under processing at another journal within the same timeframe, produced by another authorship group.
Adhering to our complaints procedure, the Editorial Office conducted an investigation that confirmed a significant overlap in content between [1] and the other manuscript under processing at another journal. Following discussions, the authors were unable to provide an appropriate explanation of the overlap nor confirm the origins of the overlapping content. As a result, the Editorial Board has decided to retract this paper as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30, accessed on 15 January 2025).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Energies.
The authors disagree with this retraction.
