"I am for the first time to publish an article in Molecules. A year ago I received an invitation from one of the assistant editors, Faye Chen. I was in the final year of my PhD-studies; after the public presentation of my thesis, together with the whole team we decided to accept the invitation and to publish in Molecules the most important part of our research. We had a unique experience, of correcting the manuscript according to the references, followed by a new submission - everything went in the best conditions of dialogue and appreciation; the assistant editor was always ready to answer to our questions. I was amazed by the speed with which all the phases went after the second submission - the whole MDPI team showed a perfect professionalism and we were not left to wait too long. In the shortest time, our article was published. In conclusion, it was a stage in which, being in contact with one of the most professional editorial teams in the world, we were forced to show everything professionally, to join our forces, so that the article result to be suitable for publication in a prestigious journal like Molecules.
